Surface Laptop Studio 2 leak: Intel 13th Gen, RTX 4060, and a microSD slot

Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop Studio 2 will reportedly get some interesting port upgrades, Intel’s 13th Gen processors, and Nvidia’s RTX 4060 GPU.


Next week, Microsoft will conduct a special event in New York City, and it appears that one of the key Surface products that will not be revealed has just been leaked. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 is expected to be unveiled the next week, according to WinFuture. It will feature some welcome improvements like Intel 13th Gen processors, Nvidia's RTX 4060 GPU, a microSD card slot, and a USB-A connector.

With a display that slides forward to convert from a laptop to a tablet (or what Microsoft refers to as studio mode), the Surface Laptop Studio 2 appears to have a similar design to the first model. With contemporary Intel 13th Gen processors inside and a new microSD card port, Microsoft seems to be addressing some of the shortcomings of the previous device.



WinFuture reports that the top specifications for the Surface Laptop Studio 2 would include an RTX 4050 or 4060 GPU and up to 64GB of RAM, whereas the first launched with an RTX 3050 Ti GPU on top variants. If true, this Surface will be the first to come with 64GB of RAM. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 will also include a base variant, which is said to use Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 will begin arriving on October 3rd, according to WinFuture.

Microsoft is also anticipated to reveal a Surface Go 4 with an Intel N200 chip the following week, though no images of this product have yet surfaced online. However, promotional photos for the Surface Laptop Go 3 have surfaced.and it resembles the Surface Laptop Go 2 very much. The new model reportedly comes with Intel 12th Gen CPUs, should be available, and resembles the Surface Laptop Go 2 quite a bit. According to rumors, the new model would include Intel 12th Gen CPUs and go on sale in the first week of October.Anfang October.
